Michael Fassbender was born on April 2, 1977, in Heidelberg, West Germany. His father, Josef Fassbender, is German, and his mother, Adele Fassbender, is Irish. When he was two years old, his family moved to Killarney, County Kerry, Ireland, where he was raised.
