Vin Diesel was raised in New York City by his mother, Delora Sherleen Sinclair, a psychologist and astrologer, and his adoptive father, Irving H. Vincent, a theater director. He has an African-American stepfather, and his mother has English, German, and Scottish ancestry. Diesel never met his biological father.
Early Career:
Diesel’s journey in acting began at the age of 7 when he accidentally walked into a theater with friends intending to vandalize it but was caught and offered a part in a play instead of punishment.
